Willoughby’s on Park
One of the premier fine dining destinations in the greater Reading area, Willoughby’s on Park is a must-visit for food aficionados. This steakhouse offers USDA Blank Angus steaks, USDA Prime. dry-ages steaks, and KOBE Wagyu steaks. Besides their remarkable selection of steaks, they also offer fresh seafood, choice selections of pork chops, handcrafted pasta, and expertly prepared produce. Willoughby’s on Park has a full bar with craft cocktails and wines, plus an extensive collection of Scotch and whiskey.
Willoughby’s on Park is located at 305 North Park Rd. in Wyomissing. They’re open from 4:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and until 9:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Dan’s at Green Hills
Dan’s at Green Hills was opened in 1989 and has remained a consistent, celebrated fixture in the Reading food scene. Their specialty is French-influenced modern American cuisine, carefully blending flavors from both food traditions for rich flavors and subtle textures that are sure to please the palate. Enjoy dishes like Duo of Duck Breast, Pan Seared Halibut, or Prime Filet Mignon of Beef. Daily vegetarian entrees are also available for interested guests.
Dan’s at Green Hills is located at 2444 Morgantown Rd. in The Green Hills Inn. They’re open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and until 8 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.
Judy’s on Cherry
Judy’s on Cherry is a departure from the traditional fine dining restaurant, instead offering guests a cozy, Mediterranean-style dining experience that features dishes cooked using a hearth-fired oven. There are both seasonal and signature menus, with favorites ranging from Three Cheese Ravioli with Lobster and Tomato Vodka Rosa Sauce to Roasted Lamb Shanks with Saffron Couscous and Kumquat Sauce with Pomegranate. Each dish is created to introduce layers of flavor. There are also delicious homemade desserts and fantastic after dinner cappuccinos available.
Judy’s on Cherry is located at 30 South 4th St. The restaurant is open for lunch 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and only for dinner on Saturday.
It doesn’t get much more fine-dining than enjoying a delicious meal in an actual castle. Stokesay Castle is home to the Lord’s Dining Room, which is a blend of the ancient and modern with gorgeous architecture and contemporary artwork. Their menu is based in the American tradition, with most ingredients coming from locally-sourced farms and butchers. The menu regularly changes to reflect seasonal availability and uses mainly organic produce and meats.
Stokesay Castle is located at 141 Stokesay Castle Ln. The restaurant is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Reservations are recommended for all the restaurants. But no matter which you choose, you’re guaranteed a delicious meal in a beautiful environment.
