These restaurants do the work for you in making sure there is something your child will love including breakfast favorites, sandwiches, pizzas, and lots of crazy names to keep them guessing. Here are five of our favorites.
The Tomcat Cafe
Voted Best Breakfast in Berks County, there’s no question why The Tomcat Cafe is a local favorite. It offers a full menu complete with fun names like The Search for Everything, “Jawn” Claude Van Damme, Roll Back the Rock, and Obviously, You’re Not a Golfer. The house specials include Go Ask Alice, which is a savory French toast covered in parmesan egg batter and topped with sauteed spinach, Roma tomatoes, asparagus, onion, artichoke, and mozzarella over eggs.
The Crave Cafe
The Crave Cafe serves a delicious breakfast and lunch menu from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day except Sunday.
The breakfast menu includes eggs, omelets, French toast, and breakfast sandwiches while the lunch menu offers sandwiches, soups, and wraps. The kid’s menu even has Nutella sandwiches!
You and your family can finish your meal with bakery treats such as muffins, cupcakes, and cannoli. They even have tiramisu! What kid doesn’t like a yummy dessert? Reward yourself and your kids today by visiting this cafe.
The Original Mama’s Pizza and Grill
What kid doesn’t love a good pizza? What adult doesn’t like pizza? Your family is always welcome at The Original Mama’s Pizza and Grill. The menu includes pizza, wings, pasta, sandwiches, and calzones. If you are looking for a healthier option, you’ll also find seven types of salad with several different dressing options. This restaurant is open daily, so bring your family in for a delicious dinner.
Austin’s Restaurant is known for its food, service, and terrific atmosphere. It has an expansive menu and several different specials for you and your family to enjoy, starting with the “Kids Eat Free on Sundays” deal. It has all you can eat ribs on Mondays, discounted Twisted Shrimp appetizers on Tuesdays and — for all you moms out there — half-price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. This restaurant also has delicious mini desserts, Oreo cheesecake, and a chocolate chip sundae which we have heard is unbelievable.
The Bar-B-Q Pit
If you are looking for a more relaxed vibe with some delicious food, then make sure and visit the Bar-B-Q Pit. This hometown favorite offers you and your family amazing memories and even better food.
It offers a full menu of traditional favorites including “munchies,” wings, soups, salads, sandwiches, and breakfast. Are you looking to try something different?
